Stayed for 5D/4N in Room 811 of Piccolo Hotel ... and here's what I can say about it ...
... my review ...
What I like :
- Perfect Location. In between Lot 10 & Starhill Gallery. Facing the Pavilion Mall.
- Unique Room Layout
- Free newspaper & 2 bottled waters everyday
- Free internet in the room
- Accessible using the Monorail
What wasn't so great :
- I mentioned earlier that it has Perfect Location. But there is a catch! It is so difficult to find this hotel if you don't know where it is ... It took us 30mins driving around Bukit Bintang area because we cannot find this newly opened hotel ... Well, the taxi driver was partly responsible. He doesn't want to follow my direction when I was trying to guide him. He couldn't believe that I know KL better than him! ... HELLO! I lived in KL for four years and was in Bukit Bintang Area almost every weekend for shopping! hehe
- Receptionist wasn't answering the phone ... while we were finding our way to the hotel, i was trying to call reception so that she can explain to the taxi driver where the hotel was ... but the phone just kept on ringing! ... I tried a dozen of times, but to no avail!
- To go to the Lobby of the Hotel for check-in, you have to go to the parking lot and take the elevator from there ... must be because the lobby entrance isn't finished yet.
TIP : the hotel is on top of the L'Opera Restaurant. If you know where the previous Piccolo Mondo Restaurant is, that's where the Hotel is! :)
