"Sheu Yuan-dong" Money - a Scam

Another mail circulating in the net ... Got this e-mail from a certain Edward Hassan with e-mail address info@verizon.net

Beware!!! ... I have surfed in the net and this e-mail come in different variants but still the same message.

This is clearly a SCAM!!! ... Remember, if it's too good to be true, it definitely is not true!

I am Mr. Edward Hassan the Director in charge of Auditing section of Deutsche Bank Labuan, Malaysia. Forgive my indignation if this message comes to you as a surprise. I have decided to contact you on a project that will be very beneficiary to both of us. During our auditing in this Bank, I came across some amount of money belonging to a deceased foreigner Mr. Sheu Yuan-dong who died with his wife and their only daughter on February 16, 1998 in a plane crash.

The fund has been dormant in his account with this Bank without any claim of the funds in our custody from his relation before my discovery to this development. He was the Governor of Taiwan Central (Reserve) Bank. The said amount was Seven Million Seven Hundred Thousand united state dollars (US$7,700,000.00). All the arrangement to put claim over this fund as the Bonafide next of kin to the deceased, has been put in place and directives will be relayed to you as soon as you indicate your interest and willingness to assist me and also benefit your self to this great business opportunity. In this country as a civil servant (A Banker), we are not allowed to operate a foreign account.

This is the actual reason why it will require a second party or fellow who will forward claims as the next of kin to the Bank and also present a foreign account where he will need the money to be re-transferred into on his request. Our Banking law stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed after (10 years), the money will be transferred into the Bank treasury as unclaimed funds. The request of foreigner as next of kin in this business is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner.

Upon your acceptance to carry on this task more information will be made known to you, and the said fund will be share in the ratio of 60/40 %There after I will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentages indicated. Please you have been advised to keep "top-secret" as I am still in service and intend to retire from service after I conclude this deal with you.

Leevon Cailao (Side A)

Leevon Cailao is Side A's current lead guitarist. He had joined the country's most enduring group in 2004 after Kelly Badon left. It was amazing how he was able to easily fit in with the group. I'm not saying that he's better than Kelly. But Leevon has a charm of his own.

You should see how girls scream during the gigs. They just kept on chanting "I Love You Leevon!" ... (and i guess I'm one of them! haha) ... He simply has this killer smile which can really melt your heart! *awwwwwhhhh* ... Plus the voice! super!!! ... I love his rendition of "Always be my Baby", "Later" & "Only You" ... Of course, we shouldn't forget to mention his guitar skills ... When he does the shredding???!!! *clap*clap*clap* ;-)
